Photo Essay The topic I chose for my photo essay is Spring Life. When I say spring collapsible cup life I am referring to things and creatures that exhibit being alive and also things that seem to represent life and or emanate life from them. I decided to choose this topic because there is so much life going on daily that one doesn’t stop to look and or appreciate it. I believe the thing that will make my story original and engaging is the images I plan to take that show how life exists in our community whether it be common or unusual. collapsible cup The thing that might be the most difficult aspect of this project is going to be how to represent life in images. The themes of style, color, exposure, perspective that I saw that were used in the photo essays reviewed in class were the use of dark and light tones for lighting, the use of perspective lines in the photos and in the props of each image that showcased a depth of field, and the style used was a form of documentary and a scrapbook setting. For the first essay I believe the photography should have used more images since he had many people who could have done many scenes to convey his theme of ninjas and for the second essay I believe the photographer used just the right number of images to convey his story of an Irish Blessing. One observation I noticed was how all the people in the shoot were ready to help out Jarvis the photographer in anything he needed for the pictures. Reply Delete
im torn between telling collapsible cup a story about myself or someone else. i cant say who this someone else is based on i want the emotion that i am trying to convey to be pure. let me know if that makes sense. i feel like a variety of light and angles will make the story more interesting. i want my story to have a little suspense to it over all. that will be the biggest challenge to me. as far as archiving my project, i can see myself using my external hard drive for the finished product but only using a couple of thumb drives to store and categorize my picture as i go along. collapsible cup i felt like the photo essay we review had unity and a wide scale of technique. I just thought of an engaging title . And touched on the sensitive mater of homelessness/ collapsible cup drug use and how they go hand in hand. Seems as if the mayor dont care. And how it effects me, emotionally and mentally : having just been in that situation years ago. Reply Delete
