We read "The Great Gatsby" the next three weeks and you can join and read it together with journalist and author Martine Aurdal, CEO. at Hewlett Packard Norway Anita Krohn Traaseth, also known as blogger Tint Kathy and Jan Vardøen, chef, boat builder, writer, designer and musician.

"The Great Gatsby" is played out in the author called "The Jazz Age", the period before the Great Depression. It begins with the narrator Nick Carraway, a young man from the Midwest who have graduated from Yale and fought in the first world broadcasters, who comes home and starts great gatsbu his career as a broker in New York City. In the summer of 1922 in West Egg, Long Island, Nick has rented a house next to the mansion of Gatsby, the mysterious host to frequent extravagant parties. The novel had its heyday first few years after the author died, it was released again in 1945 and including distributed in 150 000 copies to the U.S. military during the 2 World War. Yet another re-release in 1953 helped to increase the book's popularity, which is now considered to be one of the great American novels.
