UNetbootin allows you to create bootable Live USB drives for a variety john teller of Linux distributions from Windows or Linux, without requiring you to burn a CD. While I don't think this is an application with a common john teller everyday use it is AFAIK portable and could be used at least for its stated purposes with a Flash drive to create a live USB. If you didn't john teller have a use for that 16 gig flash drive, here's one possible use: YUMI 0.0.2.3 http://www.pendrivelinux.com/yumi-multi ... b-creator/ Note that this is early stage and not clearly open source so I put it under the UNetbootin thread. I'll split it off if anyone is interested.
