Imagine: over 230 exhibitors, of which about thirty foreigners from France, Spain, Germany, Great Britain, Switzerland, steam table Czech Republic, Hungary and Sweden; 7 shows, 6 studios, 13 demonstration areas, 2 conferences and more than a thousand courses. All this for 41 thousand visitors. Hard to say which way to begin the story of this spring edition of Cleverly? I had no doubts when I saw the #passaggiofusillaneo - Rulez !!!!
Alone, he could be the symbol of all the Atelier International Exhibition of creative craftsmanship (large steam table Fusilla! As I wrote in the first part of her post about the show can be found here but to find it is one of the first yarn bomber in Italy you must read here). If we add that his workshop was on how to make the pins medal for self-reward us from the sun, you know very well that his works could not have been exposed ...
If not ... the stand of Vengeance Uncinetta (but I have already spoken to her by telling the conference that the fair dedicated to business and creativity). As always, Gaia knows how to impress with special effects, do not you? Everything striking - elegant, ironic, pop - though perhaps the photos do not do much (as you know trade fairs my camera stays at home, and will have to do the shots taken with the phone, I hope they will serve to lead you on the sites of Artists interested in seeking further information).
Beautiful items of furniture, and also funny sleeping mask in his workshop proposals (but I'll also below): an invitation, as in his ropes, the creation of objects fun, easy invoice and at the same time d ' impact, with a unique style, also suitable for those who are beginners (that is, to me, hihihi).
His stand and his handmade book for Dummies Renew your wardrobe were in the heart of the 'Atelier Crochet & Tricot, near crocheted 3D (spectacular) of Luisa de Santi (this short video is the autumn edition, but I find both return the spirit of his creations, and that of the fair) ...
Free Form ... to Laura Soria. In the midst of such great beauty my biggest regret was not being able to take part - because planned for the next day - to urban knitting of 'Ice Cream Team that has crochettato multicolored steam table flowers combining steam table sentences of Zelda Was A Writer.
A notice to mariners: In this post we go forward freely, steam table following only the compass of coup de foudre. Do not think for a comprehensive account of the fair! Be aware though that the new exhibition layout organization involved in major subject areas: fabric, sewing, embroidery, yarn, paper, color, bijoux, modeling pastes and cake design.
Enthusiasts of the latter know for example that there was Miss Cake, but my heart still beats for Grandma's pie, then they will not find in this post sugary decorations for their teeth, but only these two views: the first (above) Jane Hudson and the second below (very entertaining the idea of ceramic tiles worn out, do you not?) Laura Saporiti.
The second thunderbolt of the fair was definitely for ... tadààààà ... (those who know me will not believe steam table it) l 'Atelier Bride creative, which declined to be in a thousand ways that I love very much were materials: paper, felt, the fabric and yarn, with some overspill into recycling. What do you think of this cascade of teaspoons? Really very effective!
Gave light and lightness steam table to the collection, mimicking the elegance of the crystal, but they were not the only wonder of Simona Girelli that has brought new life to old sheets transforming them into beautiful peonies, dresses, wedding favors, place cards, boxes, fittings for chairs and centerpieces.
I felt a great affinity with the creations of Alessandra Repetto Fabre, which combines natural elements such as mosses, lichens, lace, fabric, copper wire to make all the elements that are part of preparation of a marriage, but only for her necklaces of paper. steam table You can understand me? Normally when you crochet using yarn in wool or cotton. It happens though, especially to those who feel a strong desire to experiment with new materials, it takes the desire to "uncinettare" with whatever comes to hand. Yes, you can do it.
If you are short of ideas but would like to try something else besides wool and cotton, here's a useful list of "yarn alternatives" that can be used to crochet.
In the market you can also find the synthetic raffia or artificial, which is still valid to crochet, but is recognized because he always has the same width, is stiffer to the touch and feel "the effect of plastic." tripod head types
With extreme patience and love, you can get work truly unique. Who remembers my crib with plastic wire?

Surely there are also other materials that can be crocheted tripod head types and if you come to mind as well add them in the comments. All the ones I've listed I however, are readily available or in haberdashery or hardware or directly into your home.

But you know that the raffia I try so much. It gives me the idea that it is not very durable so we'd hats of summer or the maximum of handbags

This is one of the most frequently asked questions I receive in emails. Since I opened unideanellemani.it fact, I often receive requests for advice on how to recover things before you throw them away. It seems that the thing that the ladies are most fond of, are the sheets.
If you decide that they are no longer good at doing their duty, to forget small candy jars that they are sheets and begin to look at how simple the fabric sheets are fabric! small candy jars Let us remember that they are also almost small candy jars always a good cotton, sometimes plain, small candy jars sometimes with beautiful patterns, then exploited for many sewing projects.
Now since I do not recycle to the profession, but it is instinct, so in the same way I answer your questions. So I made a list of things you can do with the sheets, pointing out that they are not the only ones, but they are the ones that came to mind to me.
Have sheets without corners that you do not use? The sheets without corners can have new life if I will make the corners! How? With the nodes in the post that I had destritto How to make the angles to the sheets without sewing.
Do you have sheets that are restricted? The sheets that are restricted for various reasons (it happens), they can become: linen for a single bed. It 'goes, but I say: you have to trim them according to the desired size and orlarle. tablecloths for lunch every day (I repeat: lunch every day ... I would avoid lay them on the table if there are guests). Just cut them the right size and sew the sides a nice edge of fabric in color, height of 10 cm. duvet covers for the bed of the children. Simply sew the sheets a lot and make it happen as I did here. nice tablecloths for your picnic. Just sew them on to an old plaid! carpets. For the uninitiated, the sheets small candy jars can be cut into strips (thin ribbons with a thickness of 2-3 cm) in order to obtain the yarn. This can be crocheted or woven by hand to form long braids properly rolled up on themselves and stitched, they can create a very nice rugs. The process is a bit 'long but I assure you the result you get, it's worth it. To derive the sheets a unique yarn, you have to sew together the long edges of the sheet (in practice, the sheet will have to become like a "big small candy jars pipe") and then follow the pattern of cut that I described in this tutorial: cotton tape do you
Have sheets with the Yanks? The sheets, especially if very worn, they break. But, once removed the damaged parts, if they can recover the fabric still good, cutting it according to our needs. What can you do? new pillow covers for pillows aprons cute girls sunbathing by covering the ironing board covers cases jackets and coats curtains small candy jars for small windows borders for towels that need to be renovated shopping bag shopping bags, bread bags-door for bedlinen travel bags for shoes rags for dusting
If not then you have ideas or you do not want the moment to put the sewing machine, remember that in any case the sheets are "valuable commodity" even if they are not above the bed.

The classic filet crochet normally working in rows of outward what is a sand dollar and return where you create boxes full or empty according to specific patterns. Saying this, it seems that with the filet crochet you can do only work with rectangular or square or tips.
Apart from the fish, which is part of a series of free patterns that I started to draw (if you are interested, follow me!), Schema, and then work as a whole, it is round, but we do not start from the center and not Worked in the round but simply in line with rounds of return.
E 'can still get work in the network even from the center. In this case, however, the network is a bit 'different from the classic filet and more like the texture of a cobweb. Example a
E 'possible, that at some point increases 1 cat will not suffice (work tends to sag and pull); in this case, the increase must be 2 ch between a mesh and the other high, or it continues what is a sand dollar as in the example b.
However, if what you want to do with this network is not a doily or something flat, but a working dome as a headdress or a basket by starching for example, then when you want the curved work, you should not increase more .
With the method I just described above (for example) it is possible to make small to medium sized jobs. In fact, continuing to increase the chains of a turn around, the holes in the network reach to become proportionately larger and larger and so beautiful.
For example, in the picture you can clearly see that from the 3rd round you work 1 treble in the empty space below, in the 4th round 2 links high in their respective what is a sand dollar blanks below, and so on (increases highlighted in red).
The two high mesh highlighted in blue instead will form the beginning of each segment. Let's say more or less the same principle with which you are working the tile work Tondo Variants
For example you can make the network with the arches, with the point Gigliucci, honeycomb or bridges, reasons that give the work a filet look different and more elaborate, especially when working with combinations of points.
The network worked modano is very similar to that made crocheting, what is a sand dollar but the technique and the instruments are different. The network to modano working with thread and a needle of wooden double needle eye with which you do nodes hand. The designs worked in, are executed after the processing of the network. Conclusions

On each one I drew a little Santa Claus custom (the one used for the cards gift tag), and a delicate frame with polka dots. I left also, a blank space to write the name of each guest.

After having hosted as sponsors for 4 months, three shells beach it is with pleasure that I remind you that tomorrow Friday October 28th open the doors of the Exhibition Hall of the Passions and Hobbies Creative Hobbies: three days of full immersion in creativity!
Each will present your hobby: sewing, cloth and felt, knitted, patchwork, weaving, embroidery, lace, jewelry, painting, mosaic, decoupage, gilding, suspended transparent, twist art, bookmarks and cards, centerpieces and Christmas decorations, creative cuisine, miniatures, doll houses, scrapbook and many ideas from which to draw inspiration.
With ninety exhibitors not macheranno opportunities for shopping, and with five exhibitions to see and appointments between six hundred courses, three shells beach workshops and demonstrations will not miss even the opportunities to learn many techniques both old and new.
In the workshops, which last year I found it really three shells beach pleasant, every visitor will be able to participate actively in order to learn some new technique and have the satisfaction of bringing home a finished object and the pleasure of saying 'I did it'!
Not only that. A few weeks ago I was also informed of the opportunity to participate in two competitions 'My Halloween' and 'Breakfast at Tiffany's'. I know that the submitted works were really a lot (even by readers of unideanellemani) and in the three days of the fair, 28/29/30 October, you can see on display all your creations. I am really curious!
Invited by the communications manager of the Fair, Claudia Lugli, whom I thank, I will be present at the fair on Saturday 29th, to write the reviews and to photograph as much as possible. Also participate, and I look forward to being Sweet Felting at the booth of 'Ass.Culturale The Village of art.

Living in a small village where traditions are still alive (and I add thankfully), I like to observe the Passover rites. I remember as a child apparecchiavamo the table with a white tablecloth, and with the blessed eggs, the "ciacciola" and the dove, had breakfast with all the relatives.
For the occasion I made a basket egg DIY, easy to implement, inexpensive and definitely spectacular. You can use it as a centerpiece on Easter day (for breakfast or lunch, you do, as long as there are hard-boiled eggs inside).
The centerpiece / trash you work directly with your hands and it is done with about 5 feet of hemp rope (found at hardware stores to 0.60 per meter) sea shells of sanibel and a few strands of raffia raw. Nothing else. It can be done in two different sea shells of sanibel ways:
I remember that being the rope rigid enough, the trash will not need support. Worked so interwoven will stand up well on its own. Every so often, during the processing is well widen it a bit 'with his hands.

So handsome. I, too, was quite a while

It is now almost customary that when relatives or friends go on a trip, the sea or in the countryside, I wonder if I bring something. Mica a souvenir or a postcard. Something harvest, some precious treasure like a stick, a quartz crystal, a piece of cork, I know ... some treasure that is in addition to the ones I already often rimpiattati so well that I myself forget them, waiting there patients bogen tripods their "reincarnation." The last time my requests were attended to so well that the "dead steccoli" the Beach (driftwood in the words coolest) the friend in question has added its own initiative a floating net, a bit 'squashed and concretions. A true wonder. And it is enough to look at why this floating became the eye of a fish, and he pulled back so all the other branches to compose the bone. From these time-worn and faded wooden fish had seen on Pinterest caught my attention, and this is the right time to build one! After only a few tests to choose the most appropriate measure of twigs ...
And here he is, the fish! A little 'fossil a little' raft of Robinson Crusoe, this aircraft Pescioni mustache worthy of Tim Burton is ready to swim on the walls! Just place it in a tack and stand alone, suspended in mid-air as if by magic. He's so cute that I have not yet decided whether to send it in the beach house or hold it in the bathroom!

The pleasure of giving foods made with your own hands is something special, is not the first thing that will happen to the store, but it is something that thought brings to those who receive even a little about you. The jams can be an idea to give away at Christmas and I'm slowly putting aside a good number of jars so this year I find myself unprepared and forced to run to the shops at the last moment as I do every year. This is made up of really useful sand dollar story because it can solve the need for a dessert for an impromptu dinner at the last minute. A sheet of puff pastry or crust, a layer of compost, 20 minutes in the oven and you're done. Stewed apples, raisins and pine nuts Ingredients: 2500 apples (already peeled and cleaned) 1250 250 sugar 150 g raisins pine nuts 2 teaspoons cinnamon (or the amount that is most suitable to your taste) sand dollar story Peel the apples, remove the core, cut into quarters and place them in the pot with the sugar. when they have softened a little, switch to switch vegetables. Cook for about twenty minutes, add pine nuts and raisins, simmer another 15 minutes (stirring frequently sand dollar story with a wooden spoon). Remove from heat, add the cinnamon powder. Pour into glass jars thoroughly clean and dry. Sterilize the jars tightly closed: put them in a pot with cold water, bring to a boil and boil for 35 minutes. sand dollar story
