Animation Experience This is an introductory animation course, with the only prerequisite for this course being the introductory drawing course. We assume that you don’t have any prior knowledge of using Flash or creating crab without shell animation, but it is likely that you have viewed many animations. Based on this experience, what are some of the best examples of animation you have seen? How has animation told a story or made an impact on you?

animation has had an impact on me from the first time I saw a 1980's music video can't think of the name of the song but the animation of this video was something new back in the 80's . Watching cartoons as a kid is when I first began to like animation, Reply Delete
I know the video you are talking about: it was called "Take on me" by the Norwegian crab without shell music group a-ha. The video was played on MTV heavily in the 80s. The video was very groundbreaking at the time and had amazing animation. Delete
Some of the best animation I've seen would be Japanese cartoons better known as anime. Although anime has stood out to me when it comes to animation I would say that American cartoons such as "Batman the animated series" and "Spider man" would be the real reason for my love of animation because these are some of the cartoons that I grew up watching and inspired my to become an artist. The way that animation story telling has had and impact on me is by taking crab without shell me from reading comic books to spending hours watching cartoons on T.V. When I watch cartoons the story telling catches me in a way that makes me see things different. When ever I draw what the experience that I've had watching cartoons drives me to create characters that come to life can could tell a story own their own. Delete
I have always loved animation, from Disney to Pixar, but my favorite form of animation is Anime. I loved the 60's and 70's animated programs imported from Japan (Battle of the Planets, Speed Racer, Prince Planet, etc,) ,but the movie Akira was the one movie that really got me hooked on the art form and helped inspire me to become an artist. hello everyone!! some of the best animations crab without shell i have seen i bared witness to as a child. My favorite being AVATAR (the last air bender). I cant say it made me want to be an animator, it did not, but it was more of the graphics and motions that made me watch outside of the story line. Reply Delete
as far as animation i felt as though there was no way that i could get into anime. it was seem to complex for me to follow crab without shell along with as far as the emotional stand point of the visual of the character. after actually sitting down to watch Avatar i was able top connect the emotions crab without shell to the faces of the character as well as the dialog to speed of the movement of the mouths, thus making me more interested and less confused.
